Helen E. Flibbert, age 90, passed peacefully on September 23 , 2025, while residing at Webster Manor in Webster, Massachusetts. Helen was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose gentle spirit and unwavering faith touched countless lives. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Debra Toporoff of Towaco, NJ; her sons, David Flibbert of Webster, MA, and Gerald Flibbert of Dudley, MA; eight cherished grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Helen and her beloved husband, John, were longtime members of the Quinebaug Seventh-day Adventist Church, where they found deep joy and fellowship within their church family. Their shared faith was the cornerstone of their lives. A dedicated worker, Helen spent many years in the office at Ethan Allen in Dudley and later served in the kitchen at Bartlett High School, always bringing warmth and kindness to those around her. Helen's love for John was steadfast, especially during his long battle with Parkinson's disease. Though John yearned to share the Gospel, he often felt he lacked the opportunity. In a beautiful reflection of their shared mission, Helen visited him daily at Oakwood Nursing Home, where she lovingly ministered to the residents—sharing the message of Jesus with grace and compassion. In doing so, she fulfilled the calling John held in his heart, becoming his voice and vessel of God's love. Helen's life was a quiet testament to faith, service, and enduring love. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she nurtured, prayed for, and inspired. Services will be Friday September 26 at 11 AM calling hour from 10 to 11 AM in Bartel Funeral Home 33 Schofield Ave. Dudley. Burial is private for immediate family .
