Obituary of Mark J Gracyalny
Please share a memory of Mark to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mark J (Gracy) Gracyalny, age 58, of Dudley died unexpectedly Saturday, May 3, 2025, at home in Dudley. Mark was born on September 19, 1966, in Worcester, MA. He is the son of the late Gerald and the late Sandra H (Kalvinek) Gracyalny. Predeceased by his brother: Scott Gracyalny. And Maternal Grandparents John and Florence Kalvinek with whom he had lived.
He is survived by several cousins and countless close friends.
Gracy was a lifelong Roofer and handy man who many would call on for help. Gracy was
co-owner of both Juice-M & Shoot-M Autobody, and Strip-M & Lay-M Roofing. He was also a founding member of OWHOW and the BBC. A graduate of SHRHS, he lived on Mason Rd in his grandparents' home all his life. Gracy was the life of the party and was always happy to share his life's adventures. No matter if Gracy was at Cheers, Misquamicut Beach, or stripping a roof, you were guaranteed a good laugh and a "Do you remember?
To bring back some fond memories, here are some of Gracy's favorite one liners. "I am gonna knock you out", "Hey Foolio", "Kubiak did it", "Rip it up" and the classic "You ain't right".
Gracy loved Jeeps, Harleys, dirt bikes, water skiing and a good party no matter where it was. Growing up Gracy made lifelong friendships through Dudley LL baseball and playing hockey. You could not go anywhere with him, and he did not know someone.
One of Mark's favorite sayings was "We are not here for a long time we are here for a good time." Many of those good times were enjoyed with others who I am sure Mark is having a beer with right now. Including Paul Kubiak, Gregg Seraphin, Chris Mayes, Scott Millette,
Erik Jyringi, Jeff Perry and Mike Duteau. These friends along with many others were part of his "Here for a Good Time".
Mark was always late for everything. Anyone who had to pick him up during one of the times he was without a license can attest. Even for Sandy's funeral we had to all wait for him to arrive 20 minutes late.
Gracy, I am going to break your tradition and promise you will be on time for May 23. Maybe even a little early.
Mark loved a good holiday gathering with Joe P, Karen, and the family. He would not leave until we went through all the old photos, and told the stories that the kids could not hear.
Gracy, I miss you. God Speed and tell the boyz I said Hey! All my love. Joe P.
Special thanks go to Shelly and Arthur Matte who helped Mark after Sandy passed away.
