Obituary of Richard P. Conley

DUDLEY - Richard P. "Dickie " Conley 85 passed unexpectedly May 24, 2025 at his home. His wife of 49 years Joyce J. (McCausland) Conley, 68, died in 2011. Leaves sons Michael Conley of Ipswich MA, and Kevin Conley of Marblehead MA. Granddaughters Chloe Grace Conley and Avery Rose Conley. Richard was a veteran of the US ARMY 181st ENGR BN 1963. He was a devout husband and care taker to wife Joyce Conley for her last years before she passed in 2011. Dickie loved spending time with is grandchildren and always made them laugh and passed on his overwhelming compassion to them. He spent a lot of time in Ipswich Ma admiring the ocean and thoroughly enjoyed talking with the boaters. He loved deep sea fishing and kayaking down many of waterways and ocean in Ipswich. Dickie was a humorous, compassionate individual who made friends wherever he was and had a simple approach to life. Dickie was a driver for United Parcel Service for 38 years and later worked at the NAPA store.
