I met Olga many years ago when we both worked at Frito Lay in Killingly, Ct. She was a special lady in that she was always willing to help anyone that she could. I was happy that for a few years also after we both did not work there any more we did get to visit each other a few times. She was a lady you would not forget and I will always remember her with the utmost respect and affection. May you rest in peace special lady. You will never be forgotten.

Olga was a very kind and loving friend to me, and loving neighbor to Tom and the Davis family. I am forever grateful for her friendship and kindness. I wish I had more time with her, but I will treasure my time with her, forever. I will truly miss her friendship, her stories, and our shopping trips and visits. She was a profoundly kind and loving soul, and I am forever grateful to have met her and for our time together. My heart goes out to her friends and family, and I pray for peace for them and that their memories will bring them comfort. I will deeply miss my friend and "Connecticut mom", Olga. I love you, always, my sweet, Olga.

Oma was very special to my family. The memories she made with my daughter and I will never be forgotten. When my daughter was young, Oma gave her a plate that was hand painted from Germany. It was one of the few items she brought with her when she came to America. She gave that plate to my daughter because she wanted her to have something to always remember Oma and Opa by. Oma said the girl in the tree reminded her and Hans of my daughter. It was very special to her and it will always be very special to my family. Oma you are missed but I’m comforted in knowing you once again with your mom and your Hans. Thank you for sharing your life with me and my family. I’ll hear you in my prayers.

Liebe Barbara,

My mom was nice and kind to all. She taught me many things especially how to cook and bake and that's why I became a cook. I still love it.
I enjoyed going on walks with her and shopping. I will miss her so much.
I love you Mom!

Here is a picture of me and my mom out to lunch and shopping. We would do this often before the pandemic and me moving to Cape Ann. We would be off to a new adventure each time but TJ Maxx was often in the mix. Mom taught me everything I know about cooking and baking and many of you have enjoyed her recipes. Of course she made it better. She had a deep love of family and friends. Besides my dad and brothers she was very fond of all relatives but some were extra special to her heart .
She was always thinking of everybody and if I didn't answer a call or message fast enough, she chewed me out. I would hear from her sometimes several times a day with a cute meme in German or English or music, which she loved so much, or a question. When I was younger I was her translator as she gradually learned English, helped her with job applications and other official things, writing letters in English for her and Dad. So Mom and I spoke and wrote in both languages. All the letters she wrote to me in college were in German. Mom and Dad always looked out for neighbors and friends and even though they changed over the years I am glad the present neighbors came through in their hour of need. Thank you to everyone who has helped in all ways and to my brothers Bob and Rick for helping in all the ways they did and do. So I end with every night my mom and I would say to each other : Gute Nacht, schlaf gut! Ich liebe Dich, Mutti!❤️❤️❤️
