Olga Roller Otto of East Thompson , CT, passed peacefully away on June 15, 2025. Born on August 24, 1940 in Schroettersburg, East Prussia, Germany she came to the US as a teenager with her mom. She met her husband , Hans , at a German club in Hartford and they were soon married and living in Avon. They have 3 children: Richard, Robert (Anne), and Barbara (daughter Rosie). They eventually moved to East Thompson and Olga held various jobs. By far her favorite was the one she retired from, as teaching assistant. In retirement Olga and Hans traveled many places and made a lot of new friends until health issues took over. Olga loved walking, especially with friends and family, animals, flowers, taking pictures, and entertaining friends and family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Hans; her brothers Joseph (Elfriede), Gustav, Hermann, Arthur and several nieces and nephews . She leaves her children Richard, Robert(Anne) and Barbara (granddaughter Rosie) and several nieces and nephews in the US, a niece and several great nieces in Canada and several nieces, nephews and many cousins in Germany. A memorial service is being planned. In lieu of flowers you may donate to St. Jude's. www.stjude.org
