Obituary of Stephanie Ann Matthews

Stephanie Ann Matthews, "Steph", 53, of Pocasset formerly of Holliston passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. Born in Framingham daughter of Deborah Lee (Stephens) and Donald David Matthews. Stephanie was a devoted mother of three wonderful boys. They were her pride and joy. She was a dedicated nurse, and caring for those in need was her passion. Her free time was spent with her family and friends. She was a selfless individual, consistently putting those she loved first. She was always quick to volunteer to give rides to and from sporting events to anyone who needed them. She cared for her mother, and always shared her healthcare knowledge with her family and friends. She loved to sing, cook new foods, and host parties. She was also a proud dog mom to two wild American bullies, Medusa and Tucker. She loved to spend time at the beach and on the water fishing, and shell fishing, especially for quahogs. Loved and remembered by sons Michael Matthews-Burdette, Jordan Matthews, and Kobe Matthews all of Pocasset. Mother and stepfather Deborah L. Matthews and Arthur Coffey of Pocasset. Father and stepmother Donald D. Matthews and Mariana Matthews of Falmouth. Sister and brother-in-law Cheryl-Anne and Mike Sadowski of Winter Park, and uncle Peter Stephens of Pocasset. Loved by best friend, bonus sister, Lacey Ruhmpohl and bonus sons Mike and Rob Gill.
