Roland J. Laprise, Jr. 76, passed away on March 9, 2025 in Haines City, FL. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie Mae (Rockwood) as well as their two sons, Craig in Sturbridge, MA. and Ronald with spouse Susanna residing in Feeding Hills, MA. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella, Massimo and Benjamin. Also mourning his passing is his sister Janet Cullen and her longtime partner, Paul Benard. Roland was predeceased by his granddaughter Katherine. Rolly majored in Engineering and achieved his MBA at Anna Maria College. He retired from Pratt & Whitney, in 2011. He was an electrician in the Navy during the Vietnam era, and was proud to serve on several air craft carriers including the USS Wasp, the USS Yorktown and the USS Intrepid. He was active and had many hobbies including boating, hunting, skiing, as well as coaching sons’ baseball and Boy Scouts. He was an avid golfer, achieving three holes in one in his lifetime. He enjoyed traveling all across this country camping with Bonnie. He will be missed by many relatives and the many friends he made on his journey. Graveside service Monday August 25, 2025 at 10 AM Sacred Heart Cemetery Old Worcester Rd. Webster. Prayers and Military Honors provided by the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council Honor Guard . .
