John R "Jack" Wajer, age 88, of Dudley died Friday, September 12, 2025 at Harrington UMass Memorial Hospital after being stricken ill at home. John was born August 16, 1937 in Webster, MA. He is the son of the late Anthony and the late Margaret (Mangan) Wajer.
He is survived by his wife of 67 Years Theresa (Robidoux) Wajer , several nieces, nephews and cousins. . Jack and Theresa were snow birds for some 30 years in Fort Lauderdale . He enjoyed boating and annual trips to Lake George and Saratoga .
If you new Jack he was the number one New England Patriots fan and had his man cave with collectibles from A to Z he never missed a game . He made many friends in Dudley and Florida always talking and rooting on his beloved PATS !
He was employed by P. Wajers Express as Truck Driver for some 45 years Jack was a member of Teamsters local 170, The Putnam Lodge of Elks . Jack served in the Army National Guard .
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 17 at St. Stephens Church, Corner Of Route 197 & 131, Quinebaug, CT. Burial will be in Waldron Cemetery, Dudley Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 17 from 930-1030 AM at Bartel Funeral Home, 33 Schofield Avenue, Dudley, MA.
