Obituary of Brian L. Smith

Brian L. Smith, age 58, of Webster died unexpectedly Saturday, October 11, 2025 at home. Mr. Smith was born January 7, 1967 in Worcester, MA. He is the son of Beverly (Valley) Smith of N. Grosvenordale, CT and the late Joseph Smith, Jr. and lived in Webster all his life. He is also survived by his children, twins Jaime Smith of Webster, MA, Justin Smith and his wife Brittany of Shrewsbury, MA and two step children Kathryn Williams and husband Jesse of Dayville, CT, and Shad McRell of Webster, MA, Brother Robbie Smith and his wife Michelle of Webster, MA; His three sisters: Dawn Simpson and husband Kevin of Fiskdale, Jennifer Davis of Webster, MA and Bryanna Clark and husband Nicholas of North Grosvenordale, CT. Brian also has five grandchildren, Luciana, London, Ava, Julian and Beckham, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Maureen (Corman) Smith in 2013. He worked many years as a district manager of distribution with the Worcester Telegram. He loved spending time with his dog Baxter, and watching Hell's Kitchen, Master Chef, Blue Bloods and Criminal Minds. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, October 17 at Bartel Funeral Home, 33 Schofield Avenue, Dudley, MA. Calling hours will be Thursday, October 16 from 4 to 7 PM and Friday morning from 10 to 11 at Bartel Funeral Home, 33 Schofield Avenue, Dudley, MA.
