Please share a memory of Jane to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dudley Jane M. Tittle, 72, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 20, 2025 at her home in Dudley. Jane was born on March 13, 1953 in Worcester, MA. She is the daughter of the late William and Mary A. (Doherty) Meehan. She was predeceased by her husband, William Tittle on August 30, 2017 as well as her brother, Thomas Meehan in 2022. Jane is survived by her three sons: Christopher Tittle and his wife Carolyn of Charlton, Jonathan Tittle and his wife Tammy of Brimfield and Matthew Tittle and his wife Amanda of South New Berlin, NY; her three brothers: Paul Meehan and his wife Felicia of Webster, John Meehan and his wife Dawn of Dudley and David Meehan and his wife Keena of Webster; her beloved grandchildren Colton, Chloe, Hunter, Charlee, Adeline, William, Killian and Everett as well as her many nieces and nephews. Jane lived most of her life in Dudley, graduating from St. Vincent's School of Nursing in Worcester in 1974 before dedicating 35 years to caring for patients at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge. It was through nursing that Jane met many of her nearest and dearest friends. Jane loved getting together with “the girls” as often as possible. Supporting each other through life’s ups and downs and sharing endless laughs over a good meal always brought her so much joy. Most recently, Jane reconnected with the Class of ‘74 when she helped organize a fun-filled reunion. Making memories with her family and friends was always a top priority for Jane. From travelling to Aruba for her honeymoon, Ireland with Bill and her parents, and going on cruises-she loved to travel. One of Jane’s favorite places on Earth was Mayflower Beach on Cape Cod. She was always up for taking long walks down the beach with Bill by her side and never missed a single sunset with the family. Over the years, Jane spent countless hours cheering on her sons at their many sporting events. From dance recitals to hockey games, she continued on with this tradition, always supporting her grandkids in everything they did. Nothing made “Mimi” light up more than her grandkids. She was always excited to get a new photo of one of them, strategically adding frame after frame to her ever-growing “Family Wall of Fame”. Jane’s house was the place to be for friends and family gatherings. She especially looked forward to hosting Christmas Eve for the whole family, complete with a visit from Santa for all the kids. Jane cherished summer days by the pool-grandkids splashing and neighborhood friends (affectionately dubbed “The Sawmill Gang”) sharing a few good laughs. Especially Jay and Katy Kalwarczyk, who in her later years kept an eye out and checked on her regularly. Thank you both from the entire Tittle Family, we will be forever grateful for your kindness. Jane Tittle may have been small in stature but had an amazingly big heart. She will be greatly missed by the many who loved her.
