Karen "Kay" (Gra) Welch 1950 – 2026 Karen died peacefully at Golden Pond Assisted living after battling Alzheimer's disease for many years. Karen is survived by her daughter, Laurie (Gra) Wilson and husband Kenneth Wilson Jr of Webster ma. Her nephew, Ryan Gra of Hampton CT, niece, Bethany Lefebvre of Brooklyn, CT, and great nephew Morgan Lefebvre of Danielson, CT She also leaves a stepbrother, Gary Barrette (Anna Barrette) of Sedona AZ, and stepsister, Donna Dauphinais (Gerard Deauphinais) of St George UT. She also leaves her life long best friend, Debra Giambattista of Brooklyn, CT. Karen is predeceased by her Husband John (Jack) Welch, mother, Ella Barrette, Father Henry Gra, stepfather, Norman Barrette, her brother, David Gra, and sister, Sandra Spears. Karen worked for over 20 years at Anchor Glass in Dayville CT before moving to Ocala Florida where she worked as a bank teller then bank asst. manager. After moving back to Brooklyn, Ct, she continued to work as a bank teller until Jacks passing when she then turned to working as a home health aid for Day Kimble hospital. Karen loved to go to yard sales and flea markets every Saturday and turning many of her finds into craft items that she sold at various places over her lifetime. Family and Friends are welcome to gather for a celebration of life will be held at the Webster Masonic Lodge, 27 Brandes St Webster MA on Saturday June 13th at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer's Assoc. at Alz.org.
