Obituary of Frederick LeCour

Frederick LeCour, age 80, of Ware, died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Coastal Carolina Hospital of Hardeeville, SC. after being stricken ill during his return trip home. He is survived by his wife: Louise(D'Amelio) LeCour Three sons: Frederick LeCour Jr. and his partner Debra Valle of Dudley, MA, Kenneth LeCour and his wife Elizabeth of Fortson GA and Steven LeCour and his wife Terrie of New Boston, NH; Two sisters Florence Berquist & Mary LaRiviere both from Shrewsbury. Three grandchildren Desiree LeCour;, Nicole LeCour; and Kyle LeCour. Greatgrandchildren Molly and Evan Brown. Stepchildren; Debbie Savigeau and husband Nick Erdody of Tampa Fla .Kenneth Fortin and wife Marie Fortin of Westfield . Step grandchildren : Ashley Miller and husband Clint Miller , Zack Tooker and Amelia Tooker . Step great grandchild; Annabelle Miller Predeceased by his first wife of 44 year's Gretchen (Michaels) LeCour and siblings Elaine Rayburn from Detroit Michigan, Nelson and Francis LeCour from Shrewsbury. Frederick was born December 12, 1934 in Shrewsbury, MA. He is the son of the late Joseph and the late Rose (Cartier) LeCour. He lived many years in Dudley. . Fred worked for Teamsters 170 in Worcester Ma for 40 years before retiring in 1995 Fred and Louise enjoyed 11 years together winters in Florida and at their home in Ware .Fred served two years in the Navy aboard the USS Newport News and many years in the Coast Guard Auxiliary . He enjoyed boating and golfing in Florida with his buddies. He loved to fly his model radio controlled Airplanes . The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA . After cremation Fred will be buried at Corbin Cemetery in Dudley at a later date. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 30 from 7 to 9 PM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA.
