Charlton-Bessie May (Wilson) Stevens, age 96,died Monday, December 28, 2015 at Webster Manor after a period of declining health. She is the daughter of the late George Henry and the late Eva Lucille (Rivers) Wilson. She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years Ernest J. Stevens
She is survived by her niece, Carol and her husband Peter Klocek of Webster and their children Darlene and Jamie. Nephew, George Scott and his wife Sheri Wilson of Warren, MA .
Predeceased by her brother, George "Sonny" Wilson
Foster mom to many children over the years . She graduated from Bartlett High school . She lived many years in Charlton .Bessie enjoyed sewing and making clothes for folks. Avid reader and helping others to read . She had a great love for children and love for animals .
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, January 2 ,2016 at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley . Burial will be in West Thompson Cemetery . Calling hour Saturday morning from 10 to 11 AM. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to SPCA
