Obituary of Nicolina R. Zacek

Dudley -Nicolina R. (Quatrale) Zacek, 93, passed away peacefully at the Lutheran Home in Worcester on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 . Nicky was the wife of 62 years to Boleslaus Zacek who died in 2007. She is survived by two sons: Charles Zacek and his wife Linda of Dudley and Dennis J Zacek of Brookfield; one sister: Evelyn Abasciano of Shrewsbury, She also has four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and 1 great -great granddaughter. Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister, Irene "Anne"Occhialini. Nicolina was born In Jefferson , MA. She is the daughter of the late Dominick and Antoinette (DiMauro) Quatrale. Lived in Jefferson for 24 years and graduated from Holden High School in 1940.Mrs. Zacek moved to Dudley in 1946 and worked at Webster Lens and Stevens Linen retiring after 30 years of service. She was A member of St. Andrew Bobola Church and the Dudley Womens Club for many years. she and Benny loved trips to the casinos and the Wildwood Resort in New Jersey. She was a member of dancing "Silver Dippers" at the Webster Senior Center. She was loving wife and mother to her sons and grandchildren. Nicky will always be remembered for her ever present SMILE . The family would like to thank the staff at the Lutheran home for the care they gave Nicky The funeral will be held Saturday, March 5 from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel with A Mass at 10 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St., Dudley. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden Of Peace Cemetery, Webster . Calling hours will be Friday, March 4,2016 from 6 to 8 PM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA.
