Robert H Caouette, age 68, of Webster died Friday, February 28, 2025 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center after a long illness. Robert was born May 29, 1956 in South Grafton. He is the son of the late Raymond and the late Adele (Langlois) Caouette. He was a 1974 graduate of Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton. Bob worked as a manager of several area restaurants and had so many stints handling lottery sales that to most of his friends he was affectionately known as Keno Bob. He served on the board of directors at the Booster Athletic Club for several years, held the treasurer's position when necessary and was also a member of Club Jigger in Dudley He had a lifelong passion for golf, making several group trips to Myrtle Beach with his friends and also organized several golf tournaments and golf leagues in the local area. Bob enjoyed living on Webster Lake and taking friends on lake tours. He was an avid fisherman and a lifelong member of the Killdeer Island Club where for the last several years he ran the annual pancake breakfast. With a lifetime of health issues, he still managed to put everyone else's needs ahead of his own. He is survived by his brother, George, and sister-in-law, Janet (Rusack) of Wildwood, Florida, and his sister, Elaine Casaubon and her husband, Thomas of Webster as well as numerous nephews and nieces and was predeceased by his longtime sweetheart and companion, Rose Brote. As a lifetime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus church, 16 East Main Street, Webster, he held many overnight vigils at their Emmaus Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the church at Friday March 7th at 10 AM followed by burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster.
