Obituary of Doris C. Conti
Please share a memory of Doris to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Doris Claire (Boudreau) Conti 96, of Webster Massachusetts passed peacefully at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge Massachusetts on Monday April 14, 2025. She was born in Southbridge Massachusetts, the daughter of Aldei and Emma (Laroche) Boudreau.
She met Bernard Francis Conti of Dudley, Massachusetts in 1948, and they married on July 8, 1950. They were a great couple who enjoyed 64 years of loving marriage, before Ben passed away on November 25, 2014.
She is survived by their three children Paul Conti and his wife Sue of Dudley, Francis Conti and his wife Tricia of Merritt Island Florida and Janet Conti Scheffler and her husband David of Webster. She was the grandmother of four, Eric and Michael Conti, Katherine Scheffler and her wife Lauren and Thomas Scheffler and his wife Emma. She was blessed with seven great- grandchildren Trent, Cooper, Kiley, Jacob and Zachery Conti along with Lily and Matthew Scheffler. She loved her family dearly.
She was fortunate to share her life with her two fabulous sisters who were also her best friends. Jeannette Pikul who recently celebrated her 100th Birthday and Yvette LeBlanc who passed in November of 2019.
She enjoyed life, traveling to Florida with her husband and sisters in the winter months, and cruising to various destinations with her husband and other family members, seeing the wonders of other places. She was also an avid bingo player and enjoyed countless hours playing cards.
She loved spending time with her family celebrating the holidays or just the simple pleasures of everyday activities with them. She lived a full and rewarding life and was truly blessed.
She was the most positive and happy person you would ever meet. Loving and kind, warm and welcoming, strong and determined, generous and grateful are all adjectives that best describe her. Doris was always an optimist believing that her glass was always at least half full and often overflowing.
Special thanks go out to her niece Debbie Doyle and her husband George for helping us lovingly watch over her the past several years and to the wonderful and caring staff of the Overlook in Charlton Post Acute Rehab team.
