Dudley - Pasquale DiDonato, 73, of 80 West Main St., died Monday October 17 at Hubbard Regional Hospital Webster after being stricken ill while working in Dudley.
He leaves his wife of 32 years, Gayle (Plante) DiDonato, one son Pasquale DiDonato Jr. one daughter Gia DiDonato all of Dudley. Three brothers Anthony DiDonato of Dudley, Leo DiDonato and Jeremiah DiDonato both of Webster. Two sisters Carol Dellomo of Dudley, and Rose Dufries of Webster. A host of nieces ,nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a brother Santo DiDonato. Pat was a selfless man who dedicated his life to his work, but first and foremost to his family. His family was always first. He made his family what it is, and his family made him the man that so many people loved and admired.
He was born in Worcester the son of the late Emil and Laura (Troy) DiDonato and lived in Dudley all his life. Pat was a builder and had built and supervised many construction projects in Dudley- Webster area.
Pat was an avid dancer, who loved dancing with his wife Gayle.
Pat was stricken ill Monday while working at one of his developments in Dudley. Mr. DiDonato was an Army Veteran of the Korean War . Pasquale and his brothers were recently appointed Deputy Sheriffs for Worcester County . A Memorial talk will be held Friday October 21 at 10 AM in Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Avenue. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM and Friday morning from 9 to 10 AM.
