Obituary of Donald Ferrari

Webster - Donald Ferrari, 70 of 40 West Ave, retired chemistry teacher and coach died Friday, May 9 in St. Vincent Hospital Worcester after an illness. He leaves his wife of 37 years, Lorraine (Marmonti) Ferrari. one daughter: Geana and her husband Jonathan Turner of Webster. two sons: Robert Ferrari and his wife Jennifer of Attleboro and Paul Ferrari of Washington, DC. His mother-in-law, Demi Marmonti of Waltham and Six grandchildren Alex, Mikayla, Jacob, Jillian ,Jalyn and Donovan. Several nieces and nephews. He was born and raised in Athol, MA, the son of the late Mansuetto and Mary (Luchini) Ferrari. He came to Webster from Athol in 1990 . He retired in February from Holy Name High School in Worcester. Previously he was a chemistry teacher and head football and head baseball coach at both Athol High School and later at Bartlett High School . Mr. Ferrari was a graduate of WPI with a degree in chemical engineering . He was a member of St. Louis Church. His funeral will be held Tuesday May 13th from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley with a Mass at 10AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St., Webster burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday May 12th from 5 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Louis School Endowment Fund, C/O St. Louis Rectory, 15 Lake St., Webster, MA 01570 .
