Webster - Gladys (Dauksz) Cacciapuoti, 80, of 547 School St., died Thursday, January 22 in Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax , VA. After being stricken ill . Her husband of 43 years, Michael Cacciapuoti died in 1990. She leaves one brother: Edward Dauksz of Fairfax Station, VA. Several nieces and nephews in Webster, Dudley , California ,Virginia ,Washington and Nevada. She was born in Dudley, the daughter of the late William and Agatha (Ptak) Dauksz. She graduated from Bartlett High School class of 1946 . She worked as a Quality Control Inspector at the Schott Fiber Optics at the retiring in 1997. Mrs. Cacciapuoti was a member of St. Louis Church . Gladys enjoyed making baskets, quilting and painting. She loved the beaches at Cape Cod and the summers with her friends .She also enjoyed visiting her brother and her extended family in Fairfax Station Va. For the past five years Gladys was proud to help her brother host a Christmas party at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for the wounded warriors who proudly serve our country . Her funeral will be held Tuesday Jan 27 from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St., Webster. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday Jan. 26 from 6 to 9 PM.
