Webster - Lida ( Gaudere) Conn, 68, of 17 Cody St., died Thursday, March 5 in UMass Memorial HealthCare, Worcester, after a long illness. Her husband John I . Conn died in 1984.
She leaves two daughters: Angela Tetreault and her husband Arthur of Webster, Cheryl Conn of Worcester, and one son: John I Conn III of Worcester.
five sisters: Pauline LaForte of Webster, Diane Ballou of Southbridge, Amanda Beckham of NY, Jessica Armstrong of OH and Pam Therrien of Webster, Two grandchildren, Kimberly Conn and Robert Conn; Many nieces and nephews and a long time friend Donald Kaminski .
Predeceased by brothers Harold Gaudere and Ronald Gaudere
She was born in Sutton, MA, the daughter of the late Louis and the late Dorothy (Conn) Gaudere. She worked as a polisher and an Inspector for 25 years at Webster Lens Co. She also worked at Gentex and later at Ames Department Store before retiring . She lived in Webster and Dudley all her life and made many friends at Joshua Place in Dudley.
She enjoyed her family , knitting and crocheting . Lida's favorite spot was the beach at Webster Lake. She attended services for many years at the Church of Reconciliation in Webster .
After cremation funeral services will be private . A Memorial gathering will be held on MARCH 21 at 1 PM at the TSKK Hall 10 Harris St. Webster all are welcome.
