He worked as a carpenter for Cutler Associates for 25 years until his illness. Tim was an avid sports fan. He especially enjoyed the Red Sox and going to NASCAR races with his brothers. He was never happier than when he was in his backyard, on his John Deere or his four wheeler, oxygen tanks and all. Tim loved to just sit in his recliner in front of his fireplace, with his beloved dog Maximo at his feet, watching Gene Autry on his big screen. He looked forward to every family party and family trip where his subtle sense of humor and quick wit could always be counted on. We all remember one of his favorite sayings, "Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid". Tim was truly a man's man with old fashioned values and he will be missed every day. Tim was especially proud to have been named 2006 Survivor Ambassador for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Tim was nominated by the staff of Memorial Hospital because of his inspirational fight against cancer. A special thanks to Dr. Vijay Kasturi and his team, Dr. Peter Bagley, Dr. Dennis Murphy, to all who cared for him on South 5 and the VNA of Webster. Their constant support and encouragement throughout his treatment was truly appreciated.
