Webster - Marie Claire Spiewakowski, 90, formerly of Golden Heights,, died Wednesday, June 17 in Odd Fellows Home, Worcester after an illness.
She leaves one son: Samuel Sovchuk and his fiancee Andrea of Sterling.
step-daughter, Virgina Cardinal of FL; Four grandchildren Jean McLaughlin and her husband Bruce of Winchendon; James Sovchuk and his girl friend Stephanie Smith of West Boylston, Mark Sovchuk and his wife Kathy of Spencer, Four; great- grandchildren Dan, Samantha , Mark Jr. and Chris. 3 great -great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her first husband of 25 years Samuel Sovchuk , Husband Vincent Spiewakowski step son, John Spiewakowski and a brother, Samuel Holt.
She was born in Brockton and lived most of her life in Webster . Marie worked many years at B&W Footwear ,Webster shoe and Empire Laundry retiring in 1982.
Mrs. Spiewakowski was a communicant of St. Louis Church a member St. Louis League Of Catholic Women, Daughters Of Isabella and the Circle Of Charity.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday JUNE 22 at 10 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St. burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours are Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM in Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley.
