Webster - Victoria Groh, 91, formerly of Thompson Rd., died peacefully Friday, Nov.20 in Webster Manor. Her husband of 40 years, Walter Groh died in 1997 She leaves three sons: Kenneth Groh of Thompson, CT, Theodore Wood of Charlton and Leo Fitzback of Brimfield, MA one daughter: Yvonne Fitzback Bauman of Brimfield ,one brother: Peter Strzelewicz of Dudley. 9 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews, She was born in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Zarychta) Strzelewicz. She graduated from Commerce High School .She had lived in New York City and worked as a cashier in Grand Central Station . She worked 16 years at the Stevens Linen Co. retiring as a Spinner in 1975. Victoria lived some 25 years in Dudley and many years in Webster. She was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Chuch. Her funeral will be held Tuesday Nov 24 at from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley,.with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church 54 West Main St., Dudley. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Garden Of Peace Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours are Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM .
