Dudley - J. Arthur "Junior" Choiniere, 84, died peacefully Thursday, January 14 in Lanessa Extended Care, Webster with his family at his side.
He leaves his wife of 60 years, Dorothy M.(Cosky) Choiniere.
four daughters: Danielle wife of John. Glowacki Jr of Dudley, Jeanine Choiniere of Dudley, Lisa wife of Robert Russo of Webster and Christine Jacob of Dudley.
Two sons: Richard Choiniere of Putnam, CT and Ronald Choiniere and his wife Robyn of Mobile, AL
Seven cherished grandchildren Robert Miller II; Marissa Wilson; Dylan Choiniere; Robert Russo Jr.; Dalton Choiniere; Kiersten Choiniere ;Matthew Glowacki and several nieces.
Predeceased by a sister, Jeannette Remy
He was born in Webster, MA, the son of the late Arthur and Edna (Lukas) Choiniere. He graduated from Assumption Prep and the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester .
Mr. Choiniere was the owner-operator of Choiniere Dairy in Webster for many years until it closed in 1983. He then worked at Laipson Dairy . Arthur then worked at Cranston Print Works retiring in 1991
Mr. Choiniere was a member of St. Anthony Of Padua Church, He enjoyed his family and his animals .
His funeral will be held Monday JAN 18 from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Anthony Of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley. Burial will be at a later date in Sacred Heart Of Jesus Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours at the funeral home are on Sunday JAN. 17 from 6 to 8 PM In Lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St, Watertown, 02472 or to the memorial fund at St. Anthony of Padua Church 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley, MA 01571 www.bartelfuneralhome.com
