Dudley - John Rix, 67, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 26 ,2010 after a day of sailing in Westbrook Ct. He leaves his wife of 43 years, Marci (Dyckes) Rix.
one brother: Charles Rix of Jamestown, NY
two sisters: Portia Leckner of Sugergrove, PA, Claudia Nelson of Frewsburg, NY
He was born in Warren, PA, the son of the late John and Mary (Brunacini) Rix.
John lived many years in Royalston Ma and came to Dudley in 1995. John was the owner of
Premium Mold in Southbridge. He founded the business in 1980.
He was an avid sailor and enjoyed sailing on the weekends with his wife Marci. John was a champion horse trainer and showed his champion Morgan and Saddlebreds all over the country.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family .Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley is assisting the family.
