Obituary of Dianne P. Stanley

Thompson Ct - Dianne P.(Lewis) Stanley, 67, of 246 Brandy Hill Rd., died Monday, July 26 ,2010 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves her husband of 48 years, Leonard Stanley, three sons: Mark Stanley of Thompson, Wayne Stanley of Ellington, CT, Leonard D. Stanley of Walpole, MA one daughter: Tina Stanley Lefebvre of Thompson. Two brothers: Victor Lewis of Sanford, FL, David Lewis of Danielson, CT and two sisters: Jean Bradley of Endicot, NY, Nancy Mastrotortoro of Shrewsbury. Also leaves six grandchildren, Rebecca, Brandon,Hunter,Danielle,Madalyn and Colton . Many nieces and nephews. She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of the late Lauren and the late Gertrude (Joudrey) Lewis and has lived the past 40 years in Thompson. Dianne was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed being a homemaker. She loved her family and her beloved dog Peanut . She enjoyed trips to the ocean and swimming. She was talented in ceramics. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 30 at 11 AM in High Point Church, 1208 Thompson Rd., Thompson CT . Burial will follow in Munyan Cemetery, East Putnam Ct.
