Obituary of Eleanor Donais

Dudley - Eleanor Donais, 94, of Southbridge Rd, died peacefully Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Oakwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Webster, MA. After a long illness . Her husband of 53 years, Wilfred Donais died in 2000. She leaves her three sons: Paul Donais of Dudley, MA, Donald Donais of Dudley, MA, Ronald Donais of Springfield, VA . Two grandchildren Lisa and Ryan Donais in Va . several nieces and nephews. Predeaceased by a brother Lionel LaFlamme and two sisters Henritte LaFlamme and Blanche LaFlamme. She was born and raised in North Grosvenordale, CT, the daughter of the late Medard and the late Florentine (Croteau) LaFlamme. She worked as a Winder at Cluett-Peabody. Eleanor enjoyed being a home maker and her family was her treasure. She was a communicant of St. Stephens Parish in Quinebaug . She enjoyed playing cards . Eleanor's family is grateful to her many caregivers at Oakwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. . A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday October 5 at 10:30 AM in Saint Joseph Church, 18 Main St., North Grosvenordale Ct. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, North Grosvenordale.
