Southbridge - Carol (Mellen) Breau, 63, of 96 North St., died suddenly June 9 at her home after being stricken ill.
She leaves a son Edmond J. Breau Sr. and his wife Lori of Dudley. A sister Theresa DiPilato of Worcester and two brothers Henry Mellen of Oxford and Edward Mellen of Worcester. Three grandchildren Edmond J. Breau Jr., Nichoel Bezanson and Melissa Breau. Four great grandchildren Joseph,Nicholas,Tabitha and Jarred.
She was born in Worcester a daughter of the late Harry and the late Bertha (Beliveau) Mellen and moved to Southbridge in 1959. In her early years she worked at the former American Optical Company . Carol was an avid bowler and enjoyed shopping and crocheting . She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Carol will be held TUESDAY JUNE 13 at 10 AM in Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave. Dudley.A Calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 AM TUESDAY Morning in the funeral home.
