Webster - Dorothy T. (Antkowiak) Gelineau, 85, died peacefully at her home with her family at her side on Tuesday, April 12 ,2011. Her husband of 47 years, Bernard O .Gelineau died in 1991
She leaves two daughters: Theresa Laabs and her husband Mark of Webster, MA, Elaine Berthiaume and her husband Kevin of Thompson, CT one son: Bernard O. Gelineau Jr. of Webster, MA
Two sisters: Barbara George of Dudley and Patricia Szczur of North Grafton
one brother: Raymond Antkowiak of Auburn.
Six grandchildren Robert Laabs, David Laabs, Steven Laabs, Trevor Gelineau , Kristin Berthiaume and Tara Sitilites . Also leaves six ; great -grandchildren, several nieces and nephews,
Predeceased by two grandsons Mark laabs and Brian Berthiaume . Three brothers Frank, Stanley Jr. and Richard Antkowiak and a sister Alice Millette.
She was born in Dudley, the daughter of the late Stanley J. and Theresa (Dupre) Antkowiak. She lived in Webster all her life; she worked nine years at the Ethan Allen Company. Dorothy enjoyed working in the cafeteria at A.J. Sitkowski Middle school retiring in 2004 .
Mrs. Gelineau was a communicant of St. Joseph Basilica and a member of the silver sneakers at power house gym. She loved her family and most of all treasured spending the holidays with them.
Her funeral will be held Saturday April 16, 2011 from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden Of Peace Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours will be held on Friday April 15 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home .
