Woodstock CT - Cecile ( Chauvin) Wonoski, 81, died peacefully at her home with her family at her side Tuesday, May 24,2011. Her husband of 49 years, Louis Wonoski Sr. died in 1996 She leaves one daughter: Jacqueline S. Piasta of Woodstock one son: Louis "Rocky" Wonoski Jr.of Woodstock and his fiance Kim Donovan of Putnam. one sister: Blanche and her husband Fredrick Davis of Mims , FL Six grandchildren Eric Piasta and his wife Colleen of Webster, Danielle Piasta of Woodstock, Nathan Piasta of Chelsea , Meaghan Wonoski of Putnam, Dustin Wonoski of Woodstock and Richard Benoit of Putnam. Great- grandchildren and joys of her life Veronica & Erika Phillips . Benjamin & Isbella Piasta Her Caregiver and "adopted" grandson Patrick Sleigher .Former In Laws Stephen Piasta of Dudley and Anne Welsh of W. Brookfield. Predeceased by siblings Rita Lamiotte, Anita Hemingway,Clarence, Eugene and Richard"George" Chauvin. Cecile was born in Worcester, MA, the daughter of the late Eusebe and Antoinette (Fontaine) Chauvin. She was raised in Webster and worked Bates Shoe and retired from Stevens Linen in Dudley at the age of 76. She lived in Woodstock for over 50 years . Her funeral Mass will be Saturday May 28 at 10 AM in St. Anthony Of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley. Burial will follow in the North Woodstock Cemetery, North Woodstock CT. Calling hour will be Saturday from 830 to 9:30 AM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA.
