Obituary of Katherine Boudreau

Quinebaug CT. Katherine(Kay) E. (Breault) Boudreau (87) of Quinebaug, CT passed away at the Lanessa Extended Care Facility, on Sunday, June, 19, 2011 with her family at her. side. Her husband of 64 years Wilfred passed away in 2004. She leaves her daughter, Connie Thomas and husband, Bob with whom she lived. She leaves Grandchildren, Janine Flaherty of Lyman, Me, Douglas Baird and wife Amy of Bradenton, Fl., Diana Fishwick and husband Tom of Dudley, MA and Nichole Tracey and husband, Scott, of Buxton, ME. She also leaves several Great -grandchildren, Jessica and Rene Flaherty, Isaac Tracey, Tommy and Kyle Fishwick and Kelsey and Jacob Baird, plus great-great children, Kylie and Owen. She was predeceased by her son, Richard of Lowel, Vt., a daughter Judith, and a grandson, Brian Boudreau from Maine. Kay was born in Troy, VT. to John and Idna Breault in 1924. She worked as a cashier in grocery stores in So. Portland, Maine and Nahsua, N. H. She enjoyed winters in Florida, working in her yard, her family, trips to Maine, Vermont, and Florida and her beta fish, Sammy. The family would like to thank the Lanessa Extended Care Facility of Webster for their excellent care of Kay, and also to thank the VNA of Southern Worcester County for all their help. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday June 23 at Noon in St. Stephen's Church corner of routes 131 &197 in Quinebaug burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery Webster .
