Obituary of Dorothy Dot Braczyk

Dorothy M.(Kuszewski) Braczyk, age 91, of Christopher Heights, Webster died peacefully Saturday, October 15, 2011 at UMASS -University Campus in Worcester, MA. Dorothy was born August 18, 1920 in Dudley, MA. She is the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Hejwosz) Kuszewski. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene in 1989. She is survived by one daughter: Mary Ann Bates and her husband Ronald of Dudley .She also has five grandchildren, Katherine Bates of Roslindale; Daniel Bates of Worcester , Evan Bates of Charlton, Thomas Bates of Dudley and Cristin Bates of Lewiston, ME; several; nieces , nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her brothers Theodore and Bernard Kuszewski and a sister Bernice Duhamel. She was employed many years at the AO in Southbridge . She lived in Webster all her life Dot was the loving caregiver for her husband Eugene they enjoyed traveling . Dot was an accomplished seamstress . She had a green thumb loved working in her garden at her home on Linwood St. Dot enjoyed her time at Christopher Heights reuniting with old friends and making new ones . She was a communicant of St. Joseph Basilica . A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 18 at St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster .Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden Of Peace Cemetery, Webster Calling hours will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA. www.bartelfuneralhome.com
