Obituary of Dorothy E. Orsini

Dudley- Dorothy E (Langlois) Orsini, 49 of 18 Oakwood Ave., Dudley died Christmas eve. Peacefully after a courageous year long battle with cancer at her home surrounded by her loved ones . Dorothy was born March 2, 1962 in Webster, MA. She is the daughter of Leopold and Bernadette (Betty) Langlois. She married David Orsini on September 3, 1983 She is survived by her husband of 28 years David Orsini , two daughters: Jillian Orsini and her husband Jean-Paul Breault , Rebecca Orsini ,and one son: Matthew Orsini all of Dudley, MA; her father Leopold and mother Bernadette (Betty) Langlois; of Dudley two sisters: Lynn Bosclaire and her husband Bill of Webster, MA, Mellissa Gould and her husband Joe of Webster, MA and two brothers: Frank Langlois and his wife Charlene of Thompson, CT, Paul Langlois and his wife Maureen of Webster, MA; Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother and "Mammy" with a heart of gold, and a smile that would light up a room. She was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren David, Travis and Arianna. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, She graduated from SHRHS class of 1980 and then received a two year secretarial certification from the Salter School, her bachelors' degree from Nichols College and a CPCU certification from the CPCU society. She was employed for the past 22 years as a Product Manager for Commerce Insurance. Dorothy was a member of St. Louis Church and a member of the CPCU Society. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and her Grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday Dec. 29, at 10 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St., Webster .burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley Calling hours are Wednesday Dec. 28 from 2-4 & 6 -8 in Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel 33 Schofield Ave. Dudley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dana-Farbers Jimmy Fund, Tribute Program, One Harvard St., Brookline, MA 02446-9795 .
