Obituary of Stanley E. Bydlinski

Stanley E. Bydlinski, 84, of Webster, passed away on June 27, 2006 in Webster Manor Nursing Home. His wife Virginia (Lis) Bydlinski died in 1987. He leaves a son Stanley J. Bydlinski and his wife Eileen of Charlton, MA and two daughters, Cynthia Russell and her husband Richard of Sarasota, FL and Jayne Young of Old Saybrook, CT. He leaves a brother Edmund Bydlinski and his wife Danielle of Port St. Lucie, FL He was the proud grandfather of Jennifer, Amanda and Matthew Bydlinski and Amy Young. He also leaves nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by sisters Helen Lawida and Bernice Goodrich and a brother Walter Bydlinski. Stanley was born in Webster the son of Stanley and Agnes (Michalek) Bydlinski. He grew up in Worcester graduating from Commerce High School and served as a Technical Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He retired from Wyman-Gordon Co. of Worcester in 1985. He was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church where he served as Treasurer and as a member of the Cemetery Committee. He was a past president of the Kosciusko Society and Polish American Citizens Club along with being a lifetime member of the Webster Lodge of Elks 1466 and a Mason at the Webster Lodge A.F. & A.M. Stanley enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching the Red Sox, playing poker with friends and cooking. The funeral will be held at 9 AM on Friday, June 30th from the Bartel Funeral Home, 33 Schofield Ave, Dudley with a Mass at 10AM at Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church, 68 Lake Street, Webster. After cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday, June 29th from 5:00 to 8:00PM.
