Dudley - Jacquelyn D. (Dion) Pio, 78, died peacefully Thursday, April 19,2012 in Webster Manor after a period of declining health. She leaves her husband of 54 years, Michael Pio. Three daughters: Mary E. McMurray and her husband Peter of Ashby, MA, Susan E. Kennedy and her husband Brian of Martha's Vineyard, MA and Jane Sutor of Dudley. one son: Thomas M. Pio and his wife Marianna of Woodstock, CT . Seven grandchildren Melissa Boylan and her husband Jeremy, Stefanie Sutor and her companion Peter, Colleen Sutor, Andrew Kennedy ,Michael T. Pio ,Kelly McMurray and Kevin McMurray .Predeceased by her brother, Rev. Gerald Dion She was born in Webster, MA, the daughter of the late Carl J and Helen (Lonergan) Dion. She graduated from St. Louis High School and Worcester School of Business Science in Worcester. Jackie worked for the Mass. State Income Tax Bureau, Southern New England Telephone Co. in New Haven Ct and enjoyed waitressing for 10 years at Dwyer's Restaurant in Dudley. She was a member of St. Stephen Church in Quinebaug Ct. The family would like to thank the staff at Webster Manor and Harrington Hospital for their care of Jackie and support to her family . A funeral will be held Monday April 23 from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St., Webster. Calling hours at the funeral home are on Sunday from 4 to 6 PM . Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
