Webster- Janet M. (Gregoire) Bayer died peacefully on Saturday Sept.8 at her home , after a struggle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Webster, Ma. On 8-22-39, the daughter of the late Arthur and Lea (Noel) Gregoire. She leaves her husband of 39 years, George R. Bayer, a sister, Pauline Norton, of Webster, Ma. , Nieces, nephews, Sisters in law Ann Bayer of Thompson, Ct. and Milton and Lynda Chung of Honolulu, HI. Also a Maltese dog named T-Loup who was a Faithful & constant companion. Janet graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster, Ma in 1957, Worcester School of Business Science in 1958 then started working for the Prudential Insurance Company in 1958 retiring in 1994 when the Company downsized. She was an Assistant to the Manager.She and her husband loved to travel and did many cruises, travel out West visiting all the National Parks, Alaska and many bus trips to Canada. Janet was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and graduated from St. Anne School. Her family is grateful to Umass Hospice for her care Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Sept. 11 with a mass at 10 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 18 East Main St. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery Calling hours are Monday Sept. 10 from 5 :30 to 8 :30 PM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel 33 Schofield Ave,Dudley.
