Sally A. (Madura) Wajer, 71
WEBSTER - Sally A.(Madura) Wajer, 71 of 17 Brodeur Avenue died in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Friday after a brief illness. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Paul Wajer of Webster, MA; two daughters, Cheryl Bieg of Randolph NJ and Susan Bovie of Vassalboro ME; one son, Kevin Wajer of Grafton MA; mother, Hermina Madura of Webster MA; sister, Charlotte Skarbek of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wajer was a lifelong resident of Webster and a parishioner of St. Joseph's Parish. Over the years, she was active as a Girl Scout leader and an advisor for the Marion Medal Award. She was treasurer of the Friends of St. Joseph's School Fund, and was involved with the St. Joseph CYC, including their scholarship committee. For a number of years, she was a volunteer at the Southern Worcester County District Court.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday, September 12th from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel 33 Schofield Avenue Dudley with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake Street . Her burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden of Peace.Calling hours at the funeral home will be on Sunday, September 11 from 2-4 PM 7 - 9 PM.
