Obituary of Thomas M. Hughes

Webster -After a courageous battle with cancer, Tom left us on April 29, 2013. He was born and raised in Webster Ma.while a resident of Alexandria Virginia since 1996. A graduate of Bartlett High School, Bryant College and Suffolk University Law School Boston, his career began at the Federal Trade Commission. He was a partner at Thompson Hine LLP, after practicing at Hunton & Williams LLP from 1998-2011.Toms passions included, cycling, fishing, camping, and kayaking. His incredible sense of humor and loyalty to family, friends, clients and partners will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Jane( Lynch) and children Margaret (15) and George (13); parents, Thomas and Carol Hughes of The Villages, FL; brother, Jeffrey Hughes of Sturbridge, MA; sister, Susan Langley of Boca Raton, FL; his grandmother, Anna Fijal of Webster, MA; in-laws Jeff Langley and Jeannine ( Lavergne), as well as aunts Patrica Williams, Barbara Kryger,Ruth Hughes uncles John Hughes, Warren Williams, Ray Zack and cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
