Webster - Mary C. (Horan) Rohr, 87, of 160 High St., died Tuesday, December 10 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge after a brief illness. Her husband Charles J."Cinci"Rohr died in 1981
She leaves five sons: Charles Rohr of Michigan, James Rohr of Webster, Paul Rohr of Webster, John Rohr of Dudley and Stephen Rohr of Webster. Three daughters: Cynthia M. Walker of Charlton, Mary Ellen Rohr of NJ, and Tina M. Rohr of Spencer. One sister Nancy A. Presutti of Southbridge . 6 Grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by five brothers Paul, John, James, Albert and Arthur Horan.
She was born in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of the late Paul F. and the late Mary C. (O'Hara) Horan. She lived here all her life. She graduated from Bartlett High School Class of 1944. She worked as an Executive Secretary at Bates Shoe. Mary then worked for Southern Worcester County Rehab. Retiring in 1986.
She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Most of all she loved spending time with family, friends and her beloved grandchildren and great -grandchildren , Mary was known for her razor quick wit and her kind heart .
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday Dec. 13 at 11:30 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St., Webster. (Please go directly to the church) Burial will follow in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Webster. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers and consider a donation to the Webster-Dudley Boys & Girls Club, 55 Oxford Ave., Dudley, MA 01571
