Dudley - Theodore "Ted" Pikul, 87, of 270 West Main St., died Sept.30 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Jeannette (Boudreau) Pikul. one daughter: Beverly Pieper ,two sisters: Stella Gatzke and Wanda Antos all of Dudley. one brother: Joseph Pikul Jr. and his wife June of Charlton. 7 grandchildren, Donna Faford of Dudley, Randy Pieper and his wife Vanessa of East Corinth, VT. Larry Pieper of Dudley,Christine Pieper of Redondo Beach, CA; Kevin Pieper and his wife Barbara of Woodstock, CT; and Karen Pieper of Auburn.8great grandchildren and 6great-great grandchildren.several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Stanley Pikul of Dudley and granddaughter, Jeannine Marquis of Torrance CA. He was born in Dudley son of the late Joseph and Anna (Ruscieki) Pikul Sr. He served in the Navy as a Subtender on Destroyers during WWII based out of San Diego.He worked at the A.O.in Southbridge and lived several years there. Then Ted moved to Dudley built his home and opened Teds Used Cars on Hall Rd. Ted was the proprietor for some 30 years retiring in 1994. He enjoyed Harleys and was a car enthusiast and how he loved his fords . His funeral with Military Honors will be held TUESDAY OCT. 3 from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave, with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Anthony Of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley. Burial will follow in St.Anthony Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours are Monday from 6 to 9 PM.Flowers may be sent or donations to the Shriners 516 Carew St. Springfield MA 01104
