Quinebaug Ct.- Brian T Kimball 50 of Quinebaug, Ct. Deputy Chief of the Quinebaug Volunteer Fire Department Died Saturday October 14th at home unexpectedly. Brian leaves his loving wife and best friend Alice Kimball. Loving Daughters Haley Kimball of Fabyan, Ct Katie Kimball of Webster, Ma. Sandra DiFederico of Franklin, Ct and Jennifer Di Federico of Quinebaug, Ct. One adoring Grandson Anthony DiFederico also of Franklin, Ct. Brians Beloved Mother Dora Kimball of Fabyan,Ct. Brothers, Charles Kimball of Fabyan, Ct. and David Kimball of Maine. Sisters, Linda Masters Of North Carolina and Mary Kimball of Woodstock, Ct., His Grandmother Elpene Thomas of Fabyan, Ct. and his former wife Debra Kimball. Brian leaves several nieces and nephews Aunts and Uncles Many, Many close friends and of course his family of the Quinebaug Volunteer Fire Department. Brian was predeceased by his Brother James Kimball and Father Richard Kimball both of Fabyan, Ct. Brian worked at Webco Chemical as a Truck driver 1974-1978 He was known then as "Flyin Brian" He then joined the Worcester local Bricklayers and Cement finishers Union. Became self employed as a Stone mason with his Brother for over 25yrs In 2006 it was known as Brian Kimball Masonry. Brian was an artist with his work and was very well known. And highly recommended. He was a gifted and Talented Mason. Brian joined the Quinebaug Volunteer Fire Department when He was 17 in 1974 and worked hard as a firefighter and in 1991 Brian became Deputy Chief. He was very proud of the work they accomplished working hard to improve safety and well being of the community the Elderly and his Fellow firefighters. Brian was a gift to all that knew and loved him. Brian will be Missed But not forgotten. Memorial Services will be held Saturday October 28th at the new Quinebaug Volunteer Fire Department Rt. 131 in Quinebaug, Ct at ll:00am. Firefighters and Fire Apparatus will meet at 10:30 AM at Bartel Funeral Home 33 Schofield Ave Rt. 12 in Dudley Ma. for a funeral procession to the New Fire Station on Rt. 131 in Quinebaug.
