Obituary of Rena M. Rohr

SOUTHBRIDGE- Rena M Rohr, age 92, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Blaire House Nursing Home of Worcester after a struggle with dementia. Rena was born June 18, 1924 in Palmer , MA. She is the daughter of the late Francis and Marie (Dufour) Brothers. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Walter Rohr in 2008. She is survived by two daughters: Susan Darling of Dudley and Amy Mallette and her husband Bob of W. Warren; one brother: Norman Brothers of Dudley She also has three grandsons Wayne Darling of Dudley, Michael Darling of Southborough and Tom Mallette of W.Warren; Five great grandchildren, Kayla Darling; Adam Darling;Peyton Darling; Marissa Darling and Ayden Foster. Several nieces and nephews. She was employed as a buyer for the former Kouris Dept. Store in Southbridge .Previously she worked at Webster Shoe . She lived many years in Southbridge two years in Warren and the past six years at the Blaire House . A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 30 at Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St., Webster. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
