Dudley- Andrew Marketos, 84, Dudley died Friday, November 4, 2016 at home in Dudley. Andrew was born December 24, 1931 in Springfield, . He is the son of the late Alexander and the late Naomi (Bruso) Marketos.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Blanche(Messier) Marketos. He also leaves nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by four brothers.
Andrew served two years at Ft. Benning Ga and 5 years in the Army Reserves. He was a Registered Pharmacist . After his service to our country he left Springfield. Mr. Marketos owned and operated Guay's Drug Store in Webster from 1974 to 1995 . His store was one of the last Independent Pharmacies in Webster . In retirement he enjoyed spending time with his wife and helping around his home and helping others, affectionately known as Handy Andy .
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 8 at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley. Burial will be in Waldron Cemetery. Calling hour will be Tuesday, from 10 AM to 11 AM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel .www.bartelfuneralhome.com
