Dudley -Thelma M. (Quigley) Shell, age 91, of Dudley died Monday, November 21, 2016 at Lanessa Extended Care of Webster, MA. Thelma was born February 15, 1925 in Webster, MA. She is the daughter of the late Robert and the late Elsie (Westphal) Quigley. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years John Shell on Nov.29,2002.
She is survived by one daughter: Nancy Shell of Dudley, and one son: Glenn P Shell of Pittsburgh, PA; Sister of Arlene Ciesluk of Webster, MA; She also leaves five grandchildren
Sarah Johnston of Pittsburgh, PA;, Zachary Shell of Pittsburgh, PA; Caleb Mejias Shell of Pittsburgh; Katie Caplette of Houston, TX; and Korie Caplette of Worcester, MA;
three great-grandchildren;Grace Johnson; Anela Mejias Shell and Kazmir Valentine Shell. Several nieces and nephews.
Thelma was a loving and faithful mother and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart . She lived in Webster all her life. She worked as a baker at Webster Middle school and later at Bartlett High School. Her favorite job of all was working for Jake Sadowsky at his Indian Ranch in Webster, it was the highlight of her summers .
Thelma's funeral was held at Zion Lutheran Church, 70 Main St., Oxford, MA with Pastor Ken Bean officiating Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Webster Ma.01570 . In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to Zion Lutheran Church 70 Main St. Oxford Ma 01540.
