Esther R. (Piechota) Lavoie of Dudley, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Harrington Hospital in Southbridge.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Norman B. Lavoie; her daughter Jayne E. Dodge and husband Bruce of Dudley; her son Brian E. Lavoie and wife Lisa of Dudley; four grandchildren, Matthew, Chelsea, Katie and Eric and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers Joseph Piechota, John H. Piechota and Walter Piechota and three sisters Josephine Trojanowski, Stasia Libera and Charlotte Waliszewski.
She was born in Webster on 7/31/31, the daughter of Kazimierz and Maria (Faryniarz) Piechota. She graduated from Bartlett High School, Webster in 1950. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Webster.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. She enjoyed spending time in Marco Island, FL, and on Webster Lake.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, December 31st with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart Parish, 18 East Main St., Webster. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Webster Emergency Medical Services, PO Box 869, Webster MA or Sacred Heart Parish, 18 East Main St, Webster, MA. There are no calling hours.
