Obituary of Lena Thienel

OXFORD- Lena Thienel ,90, died peacefully with her family at her side Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at her daughter's home in Dudley. Lena was born in Worcester, MA. She is the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Louise (Roy) Thienel. She is survived by three daughters: Linda Hicks and her husband Henry of Dudley, Barbara Gebo and her husband Edson of Spencer and Doris Seymour and her husband Walter of Spencer Three sisters: Louise Boutillette of Webster. Irene Segal of Holden and Doris Arcudi of Milford and A brother Armand Thienel of Worcester .She also has nine grandchildren, Nine great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Theresa Bechard, Son Richard Barrette, brothers Robert Thienel and Arthur Thienel, Grandson, Scott Pare. Lena was a dedicated home health aide for private duty work for many years. She lived many years in Oxford. She did volunteer work while living there. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, January 30 at St. Anthony Of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester Calling hours will be Sunday, January 29 from 4 to 7 PM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley.Flowers may be sent.www.bartelfuneralhome.com
