Obituary of Sylvester Siekierski

Sylvester Siekierski, 77 died peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Monday, April 10, 2017 in Webster. Sylvester was born in Webster, MA. He is the son of the late Sylvester and the late Caroline (Kudron) Siekierski. He is survived by one daughter: Sandra Short and her husband Donald of Webster,and one son: Brian Hilton and his fiance' Mary Lee of Millbury.one granddaughter, Holly Blain of Oxford. Three sisters: Alice Tucker of Dudley, Anna Gardner and her husband Roger of Webster and Carol Ciabaszewski of Dudley, He also has many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Edward Raymond Joseph, Frank and Adolph Siekierski. He was employed as a framer for most his life at the Ethan Allen Plant in Dudley. Sylvester was also affectionately known as Zug and Slim . In his retirement he loved picking cans from Webster /Dudley to Thompson and back first walking and later on his scooter . Folks along his route would save their returnable's for him. Memorial Calling hours will be Friday, April 14 from 5 to 7 pm at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA.
