WEBSTER- Helen S Thompson, 99, died peacefully Friday, June 9, 2017 at Overlook in Charlton, with her loving family at her side. Helen was born in Webster, MA. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Fidalski) Tryba. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years Charles Thompson in 2003. She is survived by one daughter: Cathleen MacAlpine and her husband David of Sturbridge and two sons: Robert Thompson and his wife Nancy Carron of Southbridge , Charles Thompson and his wife Celeste of Cape Coral, FL . One sister Ann Figal of Webster She also has Four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She lived most of her life in Webster before moving to her daughter's . She loved being with family , picnics and watching daily mass on TV . She worked at Stevens Linen, Empire Laundry H&R Manufacturing and Bates Shoe before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Basilica. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 13 at St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden Of Peace Cemetery.. Calling hours will be Monday, June 12 from 6 to 8 PM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA. In lieu of flowers having a Mass said in her honor would be most appreciated. www.bartelfuneralhome.com
