Obituary of Joseph H. Harvard

Joseph Harvard Sr. 76 of Hill Court Dudley, MA pasted away peacefully on Tuesday July 25 after a hard fought battle with cancer. His wife of 54 years Cheryl (Putnam) Harvard passed away in February of this year from her own hard fought battle with cancer. Joe leaves two sons, Joseph Harvard Jr. and his wife Carol of Dudley, Robert Harvard and his wife Linda of Vero Beach, FL ,daughter Jennifer Prapuolenis and her husband Tom of Dudley; nine wonderful grandchildren, two beautiful great-grandchildren. In addition he leaves two brothers and four sisters. He was predeceased by a brother and sister. Joe was born Nov.17th 1940 to the late Henry and Agnes (Neirodzinski) Harvard Sr. He attended Dudley and Webster schools. He proudly served in the Navy during which time he was stationed in Florida, Spain and Africa. Joe was a truck driver by trade and worked for many years for Worcester Quality foods and M&M Trucking as well as independently. Joe enjoyed his trips to the casino with his daughter in-law Carol, feeding and watching the birds as well as tending to his garden . The family is having a private burial .
