Esther Milas, 89, of Webster died peacefully at Webster Manor on September 26, 2017. Esther was born October 10, 1927, daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Trocki) Ryznal, the youngest of six children including Felix Ryznal, Emily Mathieu, Celia Dumouchel, Florence Kalvinek, and Irene Goulet by all of whom she was predeceased.
She lived in Webster her entire life, graduating from Bartlett High School in 1945. She married the love of her life, Bronislaus "Ben" Milas, who predeceased her in 1982. She will be remembered as a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend.
She worked at Bates Shoe Factory, Webster Manor, and the VNA of Southern Worcester County right up until she suffered a stroke in 2012. She was a member and Past President of the St. Joseph Polish Women's Club and the Saint Anne Society for many years.
She leaves behind her daughter: Deborah Eddy and her husband Robert Eddy of Whitinsville, and two granddaughters: Elissa Graham and her husband David Graham of Northbridge, and Jillian Henriques of Castle Rock, CO, as well as one half-sister Nancy Oleszewski of Dudley, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Her calling hours will be held at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel 33 Schofield Ave. Dudley, Sunday, October 1st from 4 PM - 7 PM. Esther's funeral mass will be at St. Joseph Basilica, Monday, October 2nd at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden of Peace.
